Sister Laycock Fred's Mission Presidents Wife wrote this about the missionaries singing. "This was a powerful part of the program. All of our Missionaries, combined with the Santiago North, Santiago West, and Rancagua Missions sang, "I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go" as the touching scene of a missionary saying good-bye to his family took place on the stage. The missionary then walked alone all the way across the field, carefully pulling his luggage behind him. There was not a dry eye in the entire stadium. The offering of a missionary is a sacred and wonderful part of the Lord's Plan of Salvation. It really is so beautiful and sweet." I thought she expressed the evening the best.
