Where has the time gone?

Our May was most awesome! Where the Fred and Carlysa have birthdays in May. It is just like Christmas in our home again. Since this was a very special birthday for Fred, we decided to throw him a surprise Birthday Party. Thanks to Jeff Rowley, one of Fred's great friends it was a great success. We had lots of help from many friends of the family as well, because we had decided to have a Road Rally. I'm told that the kids all had so much fun that they were asking Fred when we will be doing another party. Maybe I'll go into the party planning business. Carlysa decided that for her friend party she wanted to have a beach party. We were so lucky to have the day of her party be a sunny and nice day for the girls to be outside. They played giant volleyball, jumped on the tramp, had cake & ice cream along with presents and got very wet throwing water bombs at each other. That night she also had her cousins over for a sleepover. The kids all acted like they really enjoyed themselves. It was wonderful to see all of Fred's great friends. They are all great kids! Fred decided that he would like a laptop computer. Carlysa, is getting a new four wheeler, which will help her out so much on the farm. I think that she is finding a little more freedom.
Our family is changing and growing up. I took Fred to apply for his sixteen year old drivers license. This has given him much more freedom. I hardly think he realizes it though. Fred (dad) is leaving hes post as Willowcreek Middle School Head Principal after opening this school and serving there for four years. Fred's parents the kids and I were all privileged to be at the closing faculty meeting, to see them honor him and his finance secretary. You see Dixie has faithfully served with Fred as Finance Secretary for about 6 years. I think it will be hard for Fred to not have her to lean on. They gave him many great compliments. Most of them are sad to see him go. They made the most awesome video presentation. It was very touching and wonderful. Now, he is moved to the District Office where he and Natalie (his secretary) will reside until they can get an office ready for the two of them out at the new High School. He is very excited about this new opportunity to open a new high school and set the standards and guidelines for helping students succeed.
Wow, the school year is already over. Spring has been giving and giving. We've had much water, snow and colder temperatures. Our farm crops have suffered this year because of the colder temperatures. It's getting well into June and our Irisis, peonies and bridle wreath are just out in bloom. We planted the garden and lost many of the plants, which I had to replant. This last week we even had more snow in the Mountains. It's unbelievable!
